Born on 26 August 1910 in Skopje, Yugoslavia, Agnes Gonza Boyajiju later became famous as Mother Teresa. He served the poor living in India. His childhood was spent in financial crisis. Despite this, he continued to serve the people. His works were respected worldwide. When Mother Teresa died in 1997, there was a wave of mourning around the world. Even today, after hearing Mother Teresa's name, only one word is heard and that is mother, Mamatamayi maa.
यूगोस्लाविया के स्कॉप्जे में 26 अगस्त 1910 को जन्मीं एग्नेस गोंझा बोयाजिजू आगे चलकर मदर टेरेसा के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुईं। उन्होंने भारत में रहकर गरीबों की सेवा की। उनका बचपन आर्थिक तंगी में गुजरा। इसके बावजूद उन्होंने लोगों की सेवा जारी रखी। उनके कार्यों को देखते हुए दुनियाभर में सम्मान मिला। 1997 में मदर टेरेसा का निधन हुआ तो दुनियाभर में शोक की लहर दौड़ गई। आज भी मदर टेरेसा का नाम सुनते ही एक ही शब्द सुनाई देता है और वो है मां का, ममतामयी मां।
